Joyce L. Nay is a clinical Social Worker. She came to this work out of a labor of love and commitment to helping others achieve their desires and dreams and to cope with life’s many challenges. She begins by focusing on four domains of desired outcomes: Physiological, Psychological, Social and Spiritual. Joyce has been assisting others in achieving their goals for the past fifteen years while strengthening marriages and relationships; enhancing career objectives and individual talents; helping others to cope, to resolve anxiety, depression, and other personal issues, and to assist caregivers as well as their parents in dealing with challenging end-of-life issues. She also enjoys volunteering at the Light House Shelter providing group and individual counseling.
Our Approach
A cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approach is used in achieving treatment goals and objectives with emphasis on the here and now. Individuals experiencing relationship issues are also armed with the benefits of communications training and boundary setting tools to enhance their interactive skills and to achieve the outcomes they desire.
